The first time I saw Mika was in Nana (the movie), that attitude yet at the same time that fragility really caught my eye. I’ll never forget her getting up on the table and singing. I know some people preferred the manga but seeing those girls in those roles (even though the story line went a bit off) was awesome.
Mika Nakashima (中島 美嘉 Nakashima Mika) was born in the Hioki, Kagoshima
Prefecture on the 19th of February in 1983.
Mika Nakashima started her career as a singer and made her debut with her first album entitled true in 2002 and has been topping the charts since then.
A few years later she stared in NANA as
Nana, Mika also sang the theme song glamorous sky which was composed by HYDE
and L’arc-en-ciel, this track made it to number one and brought in many awards
for the beautiful singer, model and actress.
Mika recently released another album called
“No More Rules” which was limited to 50 000 copies and features some exclusive
blue-ray content.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like she is working on any movies at the moment ,or have any lined up for the future.
