You’ll probably remember this girl from Azumi 2 or Kill Bill; but there is more to Chiaki Kuriyama (栗山千明 Kuriyama Chiak) than those two movies.
Chiaki who was born in Tsuchiura, Ikaraki
Prefecture on the 10th of October 1984; she began working as a model
in the mid-1990, and soon became one of the most popular models in Japan.
So why Chiaki? Well the girl has a look
that certainly puts her apart from the rest. With her iconic school girl
hairstyle (as seen in Kill Bill when she played Gogo Yubari - and has taken Hollywood
by storm as of late), her beautiful eyes
and almost edgy-perfect-for-horror look, this girl certainly takes the screen
and makes it hers.
And when I say perfect for horror look, I really mean it. Chiaki made her acting fame starring in horror films like Shikoku in 1999 and Ju-on in 2000.
So what’s Chiaki up to as of late? Well she can be caught once again on the big screen starring as Ling Xiaoyu from Tekken as well as Hagetaka : The Movie which is said to be released this year!
